Conan is a sculptural statement vase built from two opposing cones. One form rises as the other inverts above it, creating a balanced silhouette defined by vertical ribs that split and reconnect through the transition.

The geometry gives Conan a strong architectural presence without overwhelming a room. Display it empty as an object, or use the narrow opening for a considered arrangement of flowers, branches or a few stems.

Designed by Cyrc as the foundation of Cyrc’s Idio Collection, Conan is 3D printed on demand in Montréal and designed to return to Cyrc so its material can be used again.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Conan’s narrow opening works especially well with a considered arrangement of a few stems, branches or flowers rather than a wide bouquet.

  • Yes. Conan is designed to hold water for fresh flowers and can also be displayed with dried stems or on its own.

  • Conan is built from two balanced conical forms, one inverted over the other, with vertical ribs that emphasize the transition between them.

  • Where is Conan made?

  • The Conan Vase is made of Bio-based Polylactic Acid (PLA). PLA is a bioderived material made from fermented plant starch such as corn, cassava, and sugarcane. Although its source is technically renewable, the industrial agriculture it comes from has a heavy carbon footprint. This is why we use recycled PLA. It’s also somewhat misleadingly characterized as biodegradable. Although it can be broken down at the end of life, it does not naturally decompose at speed without industrial composting assistance. PLA is greener than traditional plastics, but its fate as waste, and the damage it can cause, is the same as any other plastic. PLA is a valuable material that should be kept in a circular loop for as long as possible.
