Phoam T1 End Table - Sienna

A world without waste isn't a someday idea. It's a thing you can put in a room. Phoam is one of them. Its arched, honeycomb base is 3D printed from recycled PLA that we make ourselves, in our Montréal studio, from our own offcuts, failed prints, and pieces customers send back. No glue. No paint. The sienna gradient you see is the reclaimed material itself, a deep, earthy red-brown that runs clay-dark in the honeycomb hollows and lifts to warm terracotta where the print lines catch the light. A solid white oak top sits above, its open golden grain warm against the sienna below, smooth and cool under the hand.

Because we print in small batches from the material we have on hand, every Phoam is a little different and no two gradients are alike. Nothing here is a compromise. It's a piece you'd choose anyway, made in a way that leaves nothing behind. And when it reaches the end of its life with you, it comes back to us and becomes the next thing.

Recycled PLA base:
Keep out of direct sun and away from heat sources. PLA begins to soften around 50–60°C (120–140°F), so keep it at normal indoor room temperature. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Skip solvents, alcohol, and abrasive pads. Dust the honeycomb texture with a soft brush.

Birch top:
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry right away. Don't let water sit. Use coasters under anything wet, hot, or heavy. Keep out of prolonged sun to avoid fading.

General:
Lift, don't drag. Dust regularly to keep both surfaces looking their best.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The base is 3D printed from recycled PLA that we make in our Montréal studio from our own offcuts, failed prints, and pieces customers return. The top is solid birch. No glue, no paint.

  • Because we print in small batches from the recycled material we have on hand, and we never add paint, the honey gradient comes from the material itself. Every piece is a little different and genuinely one of a kind.

  • Yes. The printed base is solid and built for daily life. Avoid sharp impacts and lift rather than drag when moving it.

  • Phoam works as an end table, nightstand, or accent piece, a home for a lamp, a stack of books, or a morning coffee.

  • Keep the base out of direct sun and away from heat, since PLA softens around 50 to 60°C (120 to 140°F). Wipe both surfaces with a soft, damp cloth, dry the birch top promptly, and use coasters under anything wet, hot, or heavy.
